The Honorary Consul of Italy in Minnesota reports to the Consulate General of Italy in Chicago.
Assists Italian and US citizens, businesses, corporations and educational institutions in a variety of liaison activities. Responsibilities range from implementation of administrative functions inherent to the mission, to intercultural mediation services delivered to interested parties with the intent to promote awareness and stimulate interest about the country of Italy, its culture, history and social economical perspectives. Additionally the Honorary Consul serves as a liaison with the Consulate General of Chicago for inquiries pertinent to Italian dual citizenship, study, relocation or travel. Business protocol and interpersonal relations between the host country and Italy are also addressed.
